The guys at <a href="http://www.battlefield1918.de/news/">Battlefield 1918</a> mod let everybody know that a 'mini-release' of their acclaimed mod is coming soon.<blockquote>Some weeks ago we started to make plans for the conversion of BF1918 onto the new BF2-Engine and published them. During the work we realized how long even the way towards the planned MiniRelease will be. A great number of weapons, vehicles, statics, models, sounds and code have to be updated or rebuilt completely. To shorten the time for our old and hopefully many new fans, we decided to create a small and very early release. This version will feature purely air combat and will provide a good preview of the planned BF1918/2.
