Battlefield 1918 Update

Battlefield 1918 mod showed off several screenshots their new 77er Flak Cannon.
More news from the BF1918/2 front! Today we present you the first ingame screenshots of the 77er Flak. Expect to see it in several maps as Heavy Anti Air. It deals out quite the punch, being most effective against the big birds such as bombers and airships. However, the 'little' birds should watch where they're flying as well, lest they come down in flames. Have a look:

Drop by their site here.

Please stop calling it Frontline18 .. The MOD name is Battlefield 1918, not Frontline18.. Frontline18 is the NAME OF THE TEAM making the mod, NOT the name of the modifikation..

        Fixed.
They really should make that clear on their site.

calm down...it's just a minor mistake...the flak looks pretty sweet, even though I'm not a fan of it in FH1, since I never shot down a plane with it

Cant wait to get back to good ol 1918.
Hopefully theres just a plain trenches map. 1 trench each side, try running across to capture the enemy base. Some like that in the 1942 version of 1918. Deadly stuff.
            But more possiblities.
            Hopefully theres parachutes..

Rifles, 2 machine guns and trenches. That does sond dangerous, hopefully not trenchfoot.

                  Re: Battlefield 1918 Update

If they can get the flight model right this might actually get me in a plane. Not a fan of jet combat and always preffered the up close and personal WW1 style.

Ground combat should be interesting given the limit weapons at the time. I wonder if they will go one shot one kill to make up for all those bolt action rifles.

                    sry i disagree.
Parachutes were rarely worn by pilots in the first world war, parachutes were usually only worn by observation balloon controllers.

It wouldn't be right if they included them, any way in the BF1942 version of 1918 the planes weren't the worst things to crash(or emergency) land, the fixed landing gears made it easier.

You can honestly say when playing 1918 when you fall out the side of the airship that you could do with a parachute.

I mean, If ya spawn in the air ship what are you to do. You can go up but theres no way youll make it down alive.
