Rardon my ignorance, but what is the problem with having games only using those weapons. I've played other similar games with just pistols and it was great fun. I cant see a problem as long as people arn't using cheats. cant be any fairer than all having the same weapon.

Yes, I have played pistol only and sniper only matches in Raven Shield. They are great fun. The difference here is with the kill/revive points, you can rack up a bunch of points in a melee like that can happen with BF2. And besides it is clearly against EA's EULA.

Too bad I bet those matches could be a lot of fun in BF2. :cry:

I say we have a mass protest, and ALL ranked servers play with pistols only. Because EA is obviously a bunch of control freaks that won't let us have our fun. No wonder there is only 1 ****ing game mode.

good news would have been ... hey folks ...we fixed the game !!! we got the patch !!! the game is hack proof !!! we banned all 40.000 ( !!!!!!) registered users from this hacksite we posted about earlier and released their names and adresses !!! and we added a moron detection to that game !!!

well ... then i would say ... holy shyte batman ... thats some good news right there !!!

but ... oh well !!!

How stupid are some people? They're not resitrcting how you can play, just on ranked servers. You're still free, in fact, encouraged, to use these types of servers, as long as they're not ranked.

Everyone who plays on these servers goes on and on about how it's just for fun, they shouldn't be restricted, etc. So then play on unranked servers, if it's just for fun.

That's pretty much how I felt when I read this community update. I thought "Great, maybe news about the patch, maybe, even a release date!"
