These maps look sweet, I loved wake Island on 42. One question, I downloaded them but haven't installed them yet, I was wondering If I install them will it prevent me from playing the ranked servers ? It should let me play on either type of server without having to switch anything around on my filters right. Damn, I'm reading this and it sounds like a stupid question to me, but Ijust want to make sure it works out right. Sorry

I haven't tried it myself...(because I don't play ranked servers), but I don't see how it could prevent you from joining ranked servers. These maps in no way edit existing files in your BF2 install....they just add folders to the levels directory with the new map information.

Last I heard the map pack plays only on the unranked servers as EA don't cater for mod-maps.

I play on the TAW servers using the IP address 69.93.21.18 on either port 16567 or 16568.

Great fun! Give it a go... its totally safe. :p

Allright, about the wake problem. I opened the map in editor, deleted one random building and repacked, works. So something is probably corrupted or whatever in the map. I have no idea.

The map pack is AWESOME ! Cant wait for the map pack # 2 !!! Total BF2 map team and everyone else who made thoes maps did a awesome job, keep it up :)

We the (EWC) enjoy the "new" visuals. EA has trained us all into loving the stats, so unranked new map pack is just fuN not Great.

All I cared about the stats were the rewards. And only the weapons at that.
So I'm loving all the unranked servers with custom maps and mods running.
I got my seven accounts with all the guns, I'm good to go!
