Looks awesome. Anything with a metal detector in it has to be good .

Hopefully we here something about the Mondo patch for BF2 as well.

From the SS the game looks really good, but personally i think they are making it too soon, like BF2 isnt even a year old. Theres still some kints with Bf2....but the game still looks sweet

Well I'll be getting it. It reminds me of Rainbow Six 3, with the warehouses, and the metal detector which was on the airport map in that game. Good memories for me

EA has to reap the rewards of BF2 as quickly as possible or lose the audience... Cash Cow? Proper marketing is more like it.

Milk this puppy for all its worth and get those expansions out to keep me interested... If you let sleeping dogs lie, they get old and run down.

I for one am looking forward to it, Hell i'm looking forward to BF3 . Progress RAWKS.

                    Re: August Newsletter

I think that the SF expansion is a great idea, the night fighting alone is really awesome.... but having served in the US Military and having served with Spec Ops units, seeing a Crossbow driven ZipLine... that's absolutely LUDICROUS!!!

is this it? tons of downright a$$material?

EA, i've absolutely had it with you. how dare they even come with expansions and console ports when the game its all based on is screaming for patches and lag-fixes?

i'd say to first make the game good, than people will finaly start saying GOOD stuff about EA and people get more interest in you. imagine that. total power, eh EA?

i would've owned the world by now if i were them.

SF is turning out to be a pretty cool expansion pack. I can't wait until this sucker is released, but would much have a bug free BF:2 first.

Two different companies working on two different games, I don't see a problem.

                          EA/DICE Canada = BF2:SF
                          EA/DICE = BF2

I wish they would make sure the game they're expanding works first. It's like pimping out a ride, but the engine is broke so it sits in your garage.. (of course, with the latest gas prices here in the US, everything might very well be in the garage soon anyway, just had to pay a danged $3.09 per gallon a few minutes ago)

The shots don't look half bad, but I'd rather they work on the original game for a while before even thinking about the expansion packs. More info on a rushed expansion pack for a rush game doesn't make me forget the patch we deserved a week from the game's release, not delayed into next month. =/

I like the expansion pack, it look pretty cool...but the graphics are kind of crappy looking...do they not have AA on or something?
