I'll ask again. Has anyone heard if your stats will continue with the expansion or will youstart over and have seperate stats for SF and BF2 ? Or has this info not been released yet ?

I thought I read in one of the interviews there will be seperate stats for the expansion with new medals and ribbons.

really diffrent points that kind of sucks since i have alot of points but it is true with the point system it has made people B****es

lol at you calling me an a$$hole. Yes, I've heard that patch 1.03 is on the way...correct me if i'm wrong.......... did you and I pay for a game that should be bug free ????? Its like FORD USA sold me a car without the wheels, but promise to fix it later...lololol........ And if you don't play on a stat server , you don't get the unlock weapons..........remember YOU and I paid for the game........ And DICE canada has nothing to do with BF2 ?? So, they are doing an expansion pack for DOOM..??? I'm scratching my head ..???????????

I know this thread is about special Forces (Of which I am looking forward to with interest) but I saw this post and had stick my ten pence worth in.

To be honest, I am glad that companies like EA are still updating this game. It shows that they care enough about it that there is some aftersales customer care put in. Computing nowadays is all about online communities and EA know which side thier bread is buttered. If they want to sell Special Forces and any other number of spin offs and add ons then they need to keep updating and taking an interest in their released games. How many 'Online' games have you played where the game dies after six months because there is no developer input. They release it, sell a few copies then forget about it. I'm not sure that EA are going about it the right way there are some fairly basic gameplay issues that just shoudn't have been released, but otherwise alot of the adjustments can only come from months of 'online' Game testing by you, Joe Bloggs. They should take a leaf from Valves 'Steam' system. Innovative, customer orientated and very personable. So I say yes, lets have lots of updates. Give me more for my pounds, give me new maps, new skins, new vehicles, adjusted scoring. Drip feed me if you like or give it to me in one big dollop of downloaded goodness. Just give it to me. And look after the game you have sold me.
