<a href="http://forgottenhope.bf1942files.com/">Forgotten Hope</a> showed off in game screenshots of their new map Midway 1942, mapped by Dime a Dozen. They also released a render of a Ford GPA, an amphibious landing craft used in Sicily, then on the Russian front.<blockquote>Midway is a 6.2 square kilometer atoll located in the North Pacific, about a third of the way from Hawaii to Japan. The in-game screenshots are from their Bf42 version the new render is for bf2 and bf42.

I don't follow the modding new that closely...does anyone know when to expect the first version of this mod? I went to the their forums and couldn't find any estimated dates anywhere. I am really looking forward this mod.

Looks pretty damn sweet. Will they be adding in or will the ragdoll physics still be present? Also, the lighting will it still be the same like in BF:2?

Lol this map is only for BF1942, some of you people actually thought this was BF2?

FH 0.7 will be released for BF1942 before FH moves over to BF2. Although some vehicles that are introduced in the latest BF1942 version are prepared for use in BF2.

Nice, it looks like the actual islands. And they even look 1:1 scale.
