<a href="http://www.21stcenturywarfare.com/">Twenty-First Century Warfare</a> (21CW), a MyIS online gaming tournament is to use the <a href="http://www.realitymod.com/">Project Reality Mini-Mod</a> in their next battle days on the 26th and 27th of August.

21CW is an online tournament which is free to join. Upon signing up players are placed in a division, within a command structure, and battles are held twice weekly on 64 man servers.
The Project Reality modification team aim to create a more realistic combat environment in Battlefield 2. Changes to the gameplay include the removal of kill messages, crosshairs, and UAV abilities of the commander. Weapons are now more lethal, with wounded soldiers eventually dying of their wounds should they not receive medical attention. Awesome. I may just have to check it out. I haven't played vanilla bf2 since the PRMM came out.

It's going to be pretty interesting, the map that's being played with the PRMM is Sharqi Penninsula, so we'll see how it goes considering the weapon differences, and what not.

Changes the game significantly. I'm also playing Saturday (1MEB) and have been practicing with this mod for more than a week. We practiced the mod yesterday on Sharqi: pretty hectic. fire fights last alot loger, and expect infantry battles to be much more demanding. no more running off and walking around. Bounding from cover to cover is the only way to live for more than a couple of seconds. It should be pretty intense.
BTW, for those who have been insanely jumping off bridges and hitting the 9 key: only SPEC-OPS class have the parachute.

Been there a long time and made some great friends there. I know this page supports the BF2combat.net tourney over ours But if nothing else it's worth a look at.
