theres one major let down i would change,
this is in ranked servers,when it says waiting for x amount of players to join b4 game begins,
this should be every kill u get even b4 the proper game begins u get the kill points an stats as there still on a ranked server.
this should be because theres a server that i always use an alot of different nationality players go in there,
so the times are always diff when its full,
then we get the game will start message.
i just think its a better idea if its ranked an its not full but we still get kills an points that we get em.
what do u guys think of this?
plus also theres always some low lifes that kill ya {own team} b4 the game sarts an some times it gets a bit of a pain when ur own side run around nailin each other lol

Should have released a limited beta version first.. might have helped with the initial glitches - however lets just sit and wait it out.

Wonder how the community will respond if the patch they finally release is really crap and buggy etc.

Riot maybe? :P But honestly, I've already decided I'm not bothering to give the expansion packs a chance. If there is such a thing as Battlefield 3, I MIGHT consider it, and that's if EA's performance is actually worthwhile between now and BF3. Until then, I'm against giving them money for service worth 1/10 of that.

I'm truly sorry that this is my first post to these forums, but:

Some of you people are truly stupid. You're whining that DICE is delaying the patch, but if they went ahead and released it by the end of August anyway, you'd be the FIRST ONES in line to bitch about how it isn't everything that they promised and how there are still bugs.

Quit being a bunch of stupid entitlement bitches and either play the game and enjoy it how it is while waiting patiently for a patch to fix things that you don't like, or shut up and go find another game.

Aren't you the same people who backed BF2 when I argued how much it blows? Now your coming in here and complaining about how bad it needs a patch. You argued how playable BF2 is out of the box, remember?

EA doesn't give a rat's ass if you like it or not, play it or not, as long as they got your money. You already paid EA for their crappy job with BF2, and there is nothing more you can do about it. In fact they sold so many copies, that for BF3 and BF2 expantions, they can make an even crapier game, and for sure millions of suckers will buy it. Then once again they will come in here and complain. You kids need to learn how business works these days : ).

If a company gets away with making a shit game and sell it like a "revolution", for sure they will do the same if not worst next time around. The costumer has only 1 option that he can choose. Either buy it or don't buy it. Once you buy it, there is nothing you can do about it. Nobody will care about your bitching, especially game companies. EA doesn't even read their own forums, for sure they won't read this.

I understand that the developers would care to keep their community happy, therefore releasing patch after patch to make its people happy...but seriously, do people actually think EA itself actually gives a damn? I dunno, I'm very conscious and confident of the fact that companies as large as EA can get away with almost anything, and still reel in the sales. Why? Because that's what they are good at. Here are some other examples:

- Battle for Middle Earth
- NHL 200x series, since 2001
- World War 2 (yes, they were the ones that started it)
- World War 3 (they are starting it right now)
- Intergalactic Trade War (yes, they will eventually begin this war, approx. 600yrs from now)

So, as you can clearly see, they release buggy games before they should be released, and in turn, makes the community very upset. Because really, who wants to play a crappy game that will eventually bring on war and famine? Oh wait, I do. I guess that's why I forked over my money to EA.

...Believe it or not but EA does care about their customers ya dumnass. How do you think BF1942 was so successful? Why do you think they wanted a patch out before Augest...DERR, I DONT KNOW, MAYBE BECAUSE WE ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AND WANT THEM TO HAVE A GOOD TIME PLAYIN OUR GAME, DERR. BF2 is an opinion, its a game whether you can sit down and have fun playing or say screw this im going back to BF1942, and guess what bud, BF1942 is the same way.

...And Battlefield Vietnam wasnt created by the original team so that was a suck ass game on perpose, think of Vietnam as the game 1 step close to BF2.

But it all boils down to 1 thing, your a complete idiot and you have no idea what your rambling about. Give EA and Dice some more f**king time, they want it done right, and they want it done perfect. They themselves do NOT want another BFV.
