Official Battlefield 2 Site Update

Today, the Official <a href="http://www.eagames.com/official/battlefield/battlefield2/us/editorial.jsp?src=communityupdate_081905">Battlefi eld 2</a> website has been updated with some good and bad news. The good news is that EA is planning to add another 300 Ranked servers to their list. The bad news is that the 1.03 patch won't be ready this month.

In order to address the key issues as quickly as possible, we set an aggressive release date for the end of August. We are committed to making the 1.03 Update as comprehensive as possible, so while it is important to us to keep the release date, it is more important that we take the time to do this right. Now isn't that just a surprise thats what, The 20th time EA proves not to be reliable about dates. EA just shut your mouths no realease dates anymore you never meet them.

All things considered BF2 is less buggy then BF1942 was when it was first released.

remember the last patch for BF2...we needed another patch to fix the patch.

Just get it right Dice thats all we ask.

I'd prefer to see it done properly, rather than rushed. Isn't it just the way though; people complain that the game is shot to shit, and the updates are no better. Yet, when they admit they'd prefer to set the release date back to make sure they've done as much as they can, you question it.

So dissapointing.

Why not release small fixes for some of the problems rather than playing with a buggy game for months to get a mega patch? A favourites and buddy list in-game shouldn't have to wait for the other 140+ fixes to come along does it?

Oh quit whining, if you cant wait an extra few weeks for something in a video game then I don't know what to say. As long as they are taking their time with it, I look at it as a good sign.

They better include a new map with this patch Another urban map like karkland.
