Look at the G36C's pic. What fire selectors do you see? I see Safe, Single, and Auto. No burst.Comment

I'm not sure how this is more realism than "tweaks". Things like lav-25's with bustmasters and tows and carrying troops, are umm....not realistic.
Reviving people, even to half life, is not 'realistic'. etc etc etc
Im also told stinger lock sounds, etc are spot-on (By someone who uses the system in his unit) How is it more realistic now?Comment

Infantry does not trigger anti tank mines... The magazine sizes were okay, why did you change them? the g36 comes with different trigger groups, i guess the most common is full auto, the next perhaps a 3 round burst? but 2 rounds?? do they really build that anywhere?
where do you get your information from? any of you who actually served in the miitary?Comment

This is one of the things that's actually right. Modern rifles are moving to a 2-round burts, over the 3 round.
Note the 'modes of fire'. You should also READ the links you provide, not just look at the pictures. If you read
You'd have seen:EDIT: Look here. http://world.guns.ru/assault/as14-e.htm
The typical HK trigger unit is assembled in a separate plastic housing, integral with the pistol grip and the triggerguard. Thanks to this feature, a wide variety of firing mode combinations can be used on any rifle, simply by installing the appropriate trigger unit. Standard options are single shots, full automatic fire, 2 or 3 round bursts in any reasonable combinations. The default version is the single shots + 2 rounds burst + full auto. The ambidextrous fire selector lever also serves as a safety switch.Comment

The G36c has a semi-auto, full auto and 3 round burst. You can see the trigger groups in game on the side of the model. Also HKPro lists it has having 3 round along with full and semi.
Also your changes hardly make the game more realistic, AT mines are pressure sensitive and a person does not weigh enough to set one off. Infact most people could jump on one and not set it off. Also the magazine sizes were all correct, as were the trigger groups except the G36C (see 3 round burst above). I'd call your mod more personal tweaks, basically how you think things should work.
Let me ask you this, did you do any research at all? Any realism mod should start with research, and lots of it. Nice try, but you fail your mod isn't any more realistic then the standard game. Infact in many ways it's less realistic.Comment

That would actually be a realistic change.Originally posted by TAW_DaSniperOk for some reason I dont have a crosshair. Is this ment to be this way or did something happen please inform me.
But I think I'll be waiting for a full blown out mod, instead of just a few tweaks.Comment

Watch the vid on http://www.hkpro.com/G36.htm (it is hidden under the table) the weapon is being fired in all modes and with a CMAG. The burst mode is 2 rounds (if you count them).Comment

The Swedish AT-mine goes of at about 120kg of preasure. During my time in the army we had one person at our 2 platoons of aprox 70 people that would trigger one. (Tank regiment btw) That was if he would have been fully geared up with AK5, ammo and backpack/cheramic-vest. Most guys in BF2 tend to look like they weigh in below that exept possibly Engineer and Support classes.Comment

Go to the site and look at the rates of fire unrer any of the G36 rifleas. ALL say S/2/F. Are you saying the H&K site is wrong about THEIR firearms? Besides that do some real research. I think most now have 3rnd burst but most firearms ar eupgrading to 2 round burst instead of 3.Originally posted by PunishedOneI did CTRL + F for burst, nothing.

Not too possible without the MDK.Originally posted by HennigerThat would actually be a realistic change.

I went to the german H&K site, heres what I found under the G36C tech specs "Feuermodus: S = Einzelfeuer, 3 = 3-Schuss-Feuerstoß, F = Dauerfeuer". For those that dont read german "Firemodes" S = semi automatic, 3 = 3 shot burst, F = full automatic".Originally posted by solodude23Go to the site and look at the rates of fire unrer any of the G36 rifleas. Maybe you should do some real research before blowing your mouth off eh? And no "3" isnt german for "2" oh and it's SDK not MDK. :P

First of all, keep in mind that HK often makes rifles/subguns with different, interchangeable trigger groups.
That having been said, the HK-USA site lists the G36C as being S,2,F
And, while we're at it, the AT mines that the US uses are all magnetic-fused, so foot soldiers wouldn't set them off.
