well I gotta admit some of the new stuff they are talking about sounds awsome. but when I hear about the word "Flashgrenades" and think of a map like "Strike at Karkand" I instantly start to twitch with my right eye and drool stareing into the wall. Now that doesnt mean it's something good. more like pre-made shock for the future maps to come with those kinds of nades hehe
anyways when bf2 gets kind of old, about the time his expansion comes about it will defenitely be someting on my wish list and I will happily be playing it alongside with bf2 :)
better this then nothing at all ehComment

why do you people constantly bicker about a 20 to 30 dollar expansion? is it really that much money... think about how much they would have spent on staff wages and production??????? they have to pay for it somehow.....
ps. dont say ea just want our money, cause for your money you get a kick ass game/expansion that will provide days of entertainment...... quite cheap when you think about it.Comment

I would like that, as long as there aren't a few attack helicopters after you, and the usual beep beep from a nearby jet or AA emplacement.Originally posted by David ChampionI wanna' see some LittleBirds :)
Have a great pilot and a 4 man crew hanging off the Skids would be cool.

Expansion packs don't interest me... mods do.
That review by gamespot was shithouse. Didn't ask the right questions or get the answers. So what was the point? Marketing.
i've been playing DC again and to me the gameplay of BF2 is homogenised and without real gritty distinction between roles and classes. DC has that and I think it is because more skill is involved. In the choppers of DC it is SO much easier to get taken out and therefore pilots really do work hard to stay alive. The same with planes. And AA in DC is very effective and pilots have to be on their toes.
Waiting for the mods to become playable in BF2. Forget about the expansion.
Oh, and the Apache in BF2 will be just the same as all the other attack choppers in BF2. The same sloppy control and boring flights. The Apache is in there in name only.Comment

700,000 or so players that are tacked by the stats system... yes i know that some ppl have more that one player but... if we go off of the figure 700,000x$50 a copy thats...$3,500,000 im not sure but thats prolly enough to pay the staff/production
ps... and they do want our money why do you think that there makeing the game...Comment

More crap to unlock, and weapons balanced based on the maps they will play on instead of something like, ballistic physics. I have no time to spend 3 years unlocking the original crap; but this time i won't waste money by purchasing this expansion.. Thank God for the realism mods that put ballistics in a proper perspective..Comment
