I just want them to fix the bug where non-static objects (vehicles and players) disappear when you look directly at them at medium to long range.
Put the crosshair on an enemy tank, and it disappears...great...
People say it's an engine limitation and that it's the same for everyone. I say it's crap.

I remember when there was a similar bug in BF1942, you had to tweak some setting to fix it.

If they fix this, it's a damn fine game indeed.

Hmmmmm....I wonder what that could mean....
Hopefully no more BlackHawk raping. Fun to do but really ruins my favorite map, Mashtuur City... ends a game real fast. That thing is like a flying fortress when loaded up and only takes seconds to turn the control point.

            Awesome

I hope red names are fixed also, it must be a pretty hard bug to fix as far as I can tell. However ever since 1.01 it has happened alot less for some reason.

T'would also be good if you could change name. But whatever we get is going to improve the game so I say bring on the patch.

Hopefully they'll fix the getting killed by a vehicle moving at 2mph next.

Glad to see the Spec-Ops finally being rewarded. I spent a couple of rounds today hiding out and keeping the enemy arty shut down for the duration. No points but it helped the team a lot. I'd be happy to see the arty shut down more often. Rounds like Karkand always turn into "Arty Parties".

Improved Server Browser – added Favorites and History Lists.
Stuff that's already halfway in the game, and apparently got removed to rush the game. Glad it's coming, but a little late.

Point-farming prevention - game will stop Support/Medic/Engineer point farming exploits.
Great, now the honest support/medic/engineer people are going to be limited because of a few lifeless idiots who think rank means they're better. Hate to say it, but I fear any fix to these will become more of a hassle than a fix. I say make the global score a compilation of how well you perform, not how many total points you receive.

Squads - locked squad leader will get a message if someone wants to join.
This worked in the demo? Why not the retail, that baffles me...

Many HUD improvements - see the names of others in your vehicle, zoom level changing depending on vehicle, map zoom depending on map setup (16, 32 or 64 player map) etc.
Confused by the zoom thing, but seeing people in vehicle will help coordinate your squad by knowing where everyone is without wasting time to ask.

Teamkilling changes – the logic of how teamkills are tracked will be changed.
I like this one, cause we all know TK'ing is just so easy in this game, and it's even easier to punish someone for a mistake. I just hope the nametag bug is included in this.

Gameplay tweaks - the way transport helicopters work will be tweaked.
Eh, I can't really say I like this one. I look at a blackhawk full of people hoping to turn flags as 12 or more points for me, not the bane of my entire team. The things are NOT invincible, even loaded with engineers and medics.

Additional scoring changes - players who destroy an enemy commander's assets will be given points.
I'm also neutral on this fix. So a lot of people want points for C4'ing something, um, yay? I guess I can see this being good, I mean it's basically like teamwork points because you're helping your team, but just as long as the crates don't repair the assets anymore. If the crates continue to repair the assets, then the window for stat padding is opened. Engineers should have to repair these things, not the commander's supply crate. It takes a crate away from the team just so the commander can play with his toys.

Eh..I'm a skeptic, what can I say. Until I see the list of the rest of the fixes and see them in action, I can't really say I'm excited. With the nature of these fixes, half the patch could be done by the end of July, not August. Not to mention some of these fixes already have half their code in the game (favorites or a history anyone? There's also something in those little files for the game for a buddy nametag color, I wonder why THAT'S there? A placeholder so the game, which is expecting buddy lists, won't throw a fit when it finds out it's not really there). I'm glad EA continues to work on the game, but I'm just not impressed with the rate they're progressing. Most of these tweaks are probably a few minutes of coding, if that, and you're done. The end of August seems like a little too long to wait.

This is good, maybe they will put an "X" mark on the helo pad and whoever step on it first will get in, more like "first come first serve" or "take a number buddy" system..

Glad they`re doing it but it`s nothing to get ecstatic about as it`s should of been implemented in the retail version...

I hope one of those fixes is that of some misaligned gun sights. The MR-444 is way off.

Perhaps it's something suddenly wrong with my pc, but it seems like the leak hasn't been completely resolved. My ping levels quickly get worse. I typically reboot after a couple of rounds.

I already know I'm an idiot, so haters don't bother with the typical reply.

Great idea. There are too many people who don't exercise respect for people who are 'the next in line'. I have even been teamkilled by {Monkeybooger} people who just can't wait their turn.
