Oh goody time to leave the Quake Wars Demo and enter First Strike.

OMG! so many games coming out i need to download and buy and play. Crysis Demo, BFP2, Halo 3, and now First Strike :yay:

Guess some haven't heard the Crysis demo has been delayed till next month, Firststrike is going to have to port to Crysis after it's released at least if they did there would be a chance of making maps for the mod #sigh# DICE and their reluctance to release the official map editor.

Anyways, it's cool to see someone finally get it! we want more depth of play not less, all the different abilities this mod has and Defend and Destroy mode, can't wait!

Well we be the first to admit we're not as massive as some of the other mods, nor as polished. But it's not our desire to spend years of work only to discover our fanbase has dried up in the meantime. Not if we could get stuff out and actually get playing on it :)

That said, as far as full conversions go we have covered a massive amount. 99% of 2142 had to be removed and replaced. Countless new methods for doing things had to be worked out and discovered. Even things like basic blaster bolts took a crazy amount of work to get going. Everything was an uphill battle but I think the fun and exciting game we've put together is well worth that effort :)

being a big star wars fan ever since i was a little kid (my first vid was empire strikes back, when i was 3, and the battle of hoth just blew me away in my seat, damn those snowspeeders are AWESOME!!!1!!!!) really got me into the franchise.

and as battlefront didnt satisfy much in the way of star wars battles, and the swbf2 i just didnt bother with after number 1, so as u can expect this mod is really got me interested, SO excited about it"!. so ill be downloading asap :p.

Woot! Gonna get the server files first and get this on the unranked ASAP. I think this will bring new life back to some who are tired of playing BF2142.
