GOG.com has just announced that Serious Sam is now available through its DRM-free distribution platform. No, these aren't the HD remakes but the classic Sam of yesteryear.
The First Encounter and The Second Encounter are available for $9.99 through GOG.com.
Serious Sam: The First Encounter, named PC Game of the Year by GameSpot and IGN Editor's Choice in 2001, is an action-packed, over-the-top first-person-shooter from developer Croteam. Sam "Serious" Stone is Earth's last and only hope in the battle against the evil Mental and his minions. He has to travel in time and change history by defeating Mental in ancient times... okay, let's face it: the game isn't really about the plot. Serious Sam is a game for connoisseurs of pure action, arcade-style gameplay and nonsensical and explicit humor.
