If you're headed to QuakeCon 2010 and want to get in on a little extra fun, you may want to consider picking up the "QuakeCon Done Quick" package, currently available for sale online. Right now there are just 500 "Done Quick" package available for those living in the United States aged 18 or older. It's a first come, first served offering for just $20, but what all is included in this package that isn't available for those going for free?
The signed lithograph alone is probably worth the price of the premium admission.
QuakeCon 2010 is slated to take place August 12-15 in Dallas, Texas at the Hilton Anatol Hotel. As per the usual, it will play host to North America's largest BYOC LAN party and will also include a huge gathering of the world's best professional gamers that will compete in both pro and open tournaments. These tournaments will offer up a total of $50,000 in prize money. General admission tickets are completely free, you just need to find a way to get there.
Bethesda will have showings there for Fallout: New Vegas, Brink, and Hunted: The Demon's Forge. RAGE will also be on display in live demo form from id Software. For hotel reservations, be sure to check out the Hilton Anatole's QuakeCon reservation page.
This premium package includes express Bring-Your-Own-Computer (BYOC) or general admission registration, a guaranteed spot in the BYOC, priority seating for panels and events, a QuakeCon 2010 t-shirt, as well as a RAGE lithograph signed by key members of the game’s development team. All items included in the package must be picked up on-site at the registration area during show hours in the Hilton Anatole Hotel.
