The long awaited PC patch for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is just two days away from release now. The R8 Client patch and the R15 Server patch is slated to be released on June 30th.
Expect the update to be rather large in size, roughly 500MB if not more for the client alone. We'll have more details as the update rolls around.
All game servers will need to be taken down for updates. The maintenance period starts on Wednesday Jun 30th at 07:00AM (GMT+2). Most of them should be back up by 11:00AM (GMT+2).
During this time window, we will also release the new game client.
