Konami has officially announced a new entry coming to the Silent Hill series. While details are scarce, it is known that Vatra Games (Rush N' Attack) will be the development team behind the game.
More details are promised to be revealed at E3. It is speculated that the game will only be developed for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC platforms. Wii and PS2 owners might be left in the dark on this one, so to speak. Long time series composer, Akira Yamaoka, will not be back for this latest entry as he has departed from Konami.
It is also not yet known if this will be a remake of an older title, a reboot to the series, or a continuation of an existing story.
