The first DLC has officially been announced for Batman: Arkham Asylum today. Eidos revealed that on Thursday, September 17, the "Insane Night Map Pack" will arrive and bring with it two new maps for players to enjoy.
This free map pack will add two new challenge rooms into the mix. The first is "Totally Insane" which will feature close quarters combat within the record facility. Batman will face off against the fast moving escaped lunatics from the main game.
The second map, "Nocturnal Hunter," will find Bats keeping to a number of watchtowers as he attempts to eliminate the enemies below. The Insane Night Map Pack will be released for free for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC versions of the game.
