A retailer in France has decided to break the street date for Halo 3: ODST leaving Microsoft none too happy about the situation.
It should be noted that customers who have legitimately bought a copy of ODST, early or not, will not be banned from Xbox Live. This issue only deals with those who have obtained the game through not so legal means.

"We are investigating a very small breach in our distribution process around the early delivery of ‘Halo 3: ODST' units," a Microsoft spokesman told Kotaku. "We are also investigating Xbox LIVE accounts that show activity related to ‘Halo 3: ODST' and will take action against those we believe have procured copies of the game illegitimately. We have nothing further to share at this time."
