In a bit of a flub by Microsoft, the upcoming "All Fronts" DLC pack for Gears of War 2 was briefly released and then pulled from the Live Marketplace earlier today. A few gamers noticed the very early release of the DLC and also noted a lower than expected price.
For those eager to get your hands on the new DLC early, you're a bit SOL right now. The content has been hidden from public view once more and will not be seen again until the 28th of July. As noted, it will go for 1,600 Microsoft Points.
The All Fronts pack includes a new single player level that can be played in the typical fashion or by using stealth. It will also come packed with seven new multiplayer maps.
Gamers who attempted to purchase the content ran into errors and were unable to properly download the content -- surprise, surprise! Epic Games wasn't sure what happened overnight, but Gears of War official forum moderator "Flak" has since confirmed it was a bug on Microsoft's side, both in terms of price and release.
