A mysterious new forum appeared on the drop down list for Bungie's website the other day, one for "Halo: Reach." Discovered by a few forum visitors, the forum has since mysteriously vanished from the live site, but not from the cached view.
An "anonymous tipster" provided Kotaku with a small bit of additional information. The tipster said that an ODST forum and a Reach forum will go live on June 1. He also went on to claim that Reach is slated for a 2010 release.
Remember, this is all rumor until the fat lady actually decides to sing. We just have to wait and see on what Bungie has in store for its numerous Halo fans.
This led to a heavy discussion around the new project which popped up on Bungie’s other existing threads and were swiftly removed to sprout any further discussions regarding the project. Thus the speculation begins regarding the nature of this product from Microsoft Game Studios and Bungie. There was a novel titled Fall of Reach released which serves as a prequel story for Halo: Combat: Evolved, this title was also used to describe Peter Jackson’s dubious Halo Project which served to look something on these lines.
