Take-Two has announced a double dose of delays today. Both Mafia II and Red Dead Redemption were delayed until the first half of the fiscal 2010. This period, for Take-Two, runs from November 1, 2009 through to April 30, 2010.
Take-Two states that the delays are to "allow additional development time for the titles and to maximize their full potential in terms of the quality of the player experience and market performance." Red Dead Redemption was originally slated for a Fall 2009 release, and Mafia II was just given a vague "2009" release period.
