A new trailer for Battlefield 1943 was just released today. The video shows off new gameplay footage, all of it taking place on the Iwo Jima map. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll marvel at the destructible environments and explosions.

Battlefield 1943 is slated for a June 2009 release on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. The PC version will still arrive but it will be released within the month of September.
