Having just launched today, some tenacious visitors have already found some hidden goodies on the new Assassin's Creed 2 website. A member of the Gamertag Radio forums, tr3Ks, has discovered a neat feature that actually makes use of your own webcam.
By holding up the symbol presented after the video plays, visitors are treated to additional content not readily apparent on the website. Feel free to give it a whirl yourself if you happen to have a camera set up.
"Upon watching the new video you can see that there is a teasing of the time period of the game(Da Vinci time period). You'll see drawings that look like they were done by Da Vinci himself. after that an odd logo / glyph appears. after clicking it, it opens a .pdf that has a nice image on it. youll see what thats for here in a second. the site has a little red box on the left side with the ANIMUS image if you click that you access the "ANIMUS" itself, atleast thats what the site is titled. heres what happens on the site. a few fun images to tease you."
