The annual Mod of the Year Awards from ModDB have kicked off today! From now until January 16, users can nominate their favorite modifications to be considered during the voting process.
Nominations are open to every Indie title and Modification listed on ModDB. Nominating your favorite is as simple as visiting their ModDB profile page and clicking on the very prominent "VOTE FOR MOD" button on the summary page.
Previous years winners include such notables as Insurgency, Garry's Mod, Red Orchestra, and Natural Selection. Winners this year will receive a rather nice assortment of prizes in addition to the recognition.
