The Australian Classifications Board has re-evaluated F.E.A.R. 2, this time granting classification to the title. As you may recall, the game was previously denied classification from the Board. This initial denial meant that the game wouldn't be allowed to be released in Australia.
However, after reviewing extensive footage from all of the game's levels, the Board unanimously decided to approve classification on F.E.A.R. 2. The title was given a MA 15+ classification, citing "strong violence, blood and gore, (and) moderate coarse language" as the reason for its rating.
F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin is slated for release in February 2009 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
