The achievements for Left 4 Dead have been revealed by French gaming site, Succes Full.
There are 50 achievements totalling 1000 gamerscore points for the Xbox 360 version of the title. It's more than likely these achievements will translate into similar or identical achievements for the PC Steam version of the title.

Revive 50 incapacitated Survivors. 20
- Field Medic
Heal 25 Survivors with a first aid kit. 20
- Pharm-assist
Give pain pills to 10 Survivors. 20
- My Bodyguard
Protect any Survivor from an attacking Infected 50 times. 15

Punch a Hunter as he is pouncing. 10

Kill a Witch with a single headshot. 30
- Untouchables
No Survivors take damage after contacting the rescue vehicle. 30
