The Steam Community has received an unannounced face lift the other day. Sporting a few new features and a near completely redesigned interface, the update came not with a huge announcement but an inaudible squeak.
- Under your control panel, a new Blotter feature is prominently displayed that shows you the recent history of what your friends have been up to. There is no way to hide your own activities from being seen, but you can hide any of your friends' items on the blotter that you do not wish to see.
- Official groups look as though they will soon be implemented.
- Groups have been moved to their own tab on your user CP. The icons and text have been given a bit of a size increase as well.
- Events are handled in your local time zone
- The total number of games owned is displayed on your profile page for all to see.
