The first "patch" for Far Cry 2, when it's released, may introduce a number of predatory animals into the mix. Out of the box, Far Cry 2 only features a handful of herbivores.
Far Cry 2 will be released late in October.
"The game will be released with only herbivores," reads PCG's The Spy column. "But there's a real chance that the game could end up with more vicious animals in DLC," such as lions, tigers and hopefully hungry, hungry hippos.Right now, the game only features Zebra and Deer that sort of "flop over" when you shoot them. The UK version of PC Gamer granted Far Cry 2 a 94% review score.
