Four new multiplayer modes have been revealed today for Far Cry 2. Two of them should be immediately familiar to fans of any online multiplayer game.
Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch will both be included when Far Cry 2 releases. There are also "Capture the Diamond" and "Uprising" set to be included.
Capture the Diamond sounds to be a Far Cry 2 version of the old standby, capture the flag. Uprising was described as a "modified version of a VIP mode." If you remember Counter-Strike's old VIP mode, you may very well have a good idea on what to expect in Uprising.
Far Cry 2 is slated for an October 21 North American release on the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.
