The currently in development title, Dead Space by EA, has been rather quiet on the media front lately. That is, it was quiet until a new trailer was released that was crafted by the director of the Saw movies, James Wan.
Dead Space places you in the shoes of an engineer named Isaac Clarke, who is stationed aboard an interstellar mining ship that just happens to become overrun with "a polymorphic alien species called the 'Necromorphs'." This survival horror/shooter will be released in late October for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC systems.
Edit: It seems as though this game will be a third-person title. I accidentally mistook it for a first-person shooter. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused. I'll keep the news up here just because the game looks awesome.
