Clear Sky Boasts Impressive Visuals

I was already a fan of the visuals presented in the first S.T.A.L.K.E.R. title, but Clear Sky aims to up the ante considerably. Behold, the latest trailer for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky.

The Zone has never looked more impressive. Clear Sky will be released on August 29, 2008.

i honestly don't understand why anyone is interested in this. i know graphics aren't the beginning and the end of video games, but i just hated the visuals in the first stalker game. it felt like a hl1 mod. no shit.

You run them on medium or something? The visuals, while not up to snuff with Crysis, were still very impressive. Couple that with something like the float32 mod and they were downright gorgeous in spots.



Yes, graphics don't make the game, but the gameplay was also there. If my saves didn't decide to constantly crap themselves for some reason, I'd be replaying it. It was just a ton of fun.
