Counter-Strike Abstract Map Pack

bl4nk informs us that a new map pack was just recently released from the joe.to forums. The maps are for Counter-Strike and they all take on a decidedly unique visual twist.



The map pack features five different maps, two of which are by famed map maker NIPPER (hopefully that rings a bell). The pack includes: arghhh by NIPPER, bohhh by Dr. Boo, de_absurdity by AlphaKennyOne, de_radiance by NIPPER, and wham_city by AMMO.

If you couldn't tell by the screenshots, this pack features some of the most sadistically pleasing visuals yet seen in a Counter-Strike: Source map pack.

It wouldn't be all new maps if it had blahhh in it.



A lot of the stuff done in these maps can't be done in 1.6.

Nipper is the best. Loved his work all these years, and the Cherry Clan has been great.



I guess no one has heard of the mapper Rickler...

Yeah it's true 1.6 is still very popular, but as Nipper says, there are a lot of things on these maps that can't nearly be done on 1.6. When I made bohhh for this mappack, I could really do things that are totally unthinkable for 1.6
