Ideas for the Scout

Everyone's favorite person, Slapnuts, whipped up a few of his own ideas for a potential update to the Scout class.



A few of the bits in his piece are a bit dated now with the news that the Heavy will be next, but it's no less a very thought provoking look at one fan's wish for the Scout unlockables.



His ideas? The "Home Run Bat" that stuns enemies, the "Triple Jump" which is self-explanatory, and the "Line Drive" which is a tranq gun to replace the pistol.



He has some pretty whacky ideas!

He seems to think the scout is unable to survive, which isn't true at all. The only thing that stops scouts from steam rolling the entire game is sentry guns.

The "roasted weenies" accomplishment was incredibly easy for me to get. 'nuff said. Nice pun on the 'whacky' ideas, though. Thwack!



Worst idea for a Scout ever: the riot shield.

And Milly9, it isn't so much that I think a good scout can't survive. Just in scrims and matches I have played, if he is alone without support, and runs in to almost any class, he is screwed. It is much different in pubs, I admit. But with his lifespan time so short from the evidence in the stats, I think a "backburner'esque" health boost may happen.
