Rumor - Heavy Next to Receive Unlocks

Saint_K passed this tasty bit of information on to us. It appears that the Heavy might be next in line to receive achievements and unlockable weapons in Team Fortress 2.



This rumor, as it stands, comes from a screenshot of an email between a TF2 fan and Valve's Gabe Newell.

Of course, the email could be fake. I'll be sure and update this once a confirmation or denial of the email is made.

Note his bookmarks. So yeah, still very much a rumor, especially coming from this guy.

It doesn't say on his GMail page, but on the bookmark section it says GMail Inbox - (1).



If that one means one e-mail.. it's obviously a fake :p

The "1" shows that he has one unread email in his inbox, not that there's only one email total.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking you or anything. But the guy has bookmarks to a number of torrent sites with a lot of other illegal content, not to mention the pacsteam thing. That doesn't fly well with us.

Ye well, thats what u get when your from Romania... That part of Europe, if you want to play with your friends, you'll often need to join the ilegal servers because alot don't own the official game.. :/

I liked the Spy rumor/hoax better... a lot of work went into that release. :) Time will tell whether this one pans out.



On a somewhat related note: seeing more and more of these achievement servers online makes me wonder if Valve is gonna start to do anything about the artificially inflated stats on people's accounts (ala Microsoft's crackdown in their Live service) or if it's just going to be viewed as a non-issue.

Zips , dude , i cannot imagine that u are from the csn team and so u are still so stupid , that gmail bookmark was bookmarked 4 months ago , when i reinstalled my Os , and when i had 1 mail unreaded.
