    Five Battlefield Titles Coming

If you thought that Bad Company and Battlefield Heroes were the extent of the immediate Battlefield releases, think again. Dice has confirmed that there are five Battlefield titles in development, including the two mentioned above.
But the team is also at work on three other games based on the series, including a traditional core game aimed at consoles, and a new collaboration with Neowiz specifically for the Korean market.
It wasn't specifically mentioned what the last title would be, but if I were a betting man, I'd go so far as to say it's the PC Battlefield title that is set to use the same engine as Bad Company. We shall have to wait and see!

I'm the biggest Battlefield fan there is, and even I think this is retarded... fuckin milking the series for all its worth.

Heh, I think Ive played on a few servers with you meow meow if thats your screen name in BF, mine was (KYOT)_Death. I am a huge fan of the franchise as well, although by the time the PS3/XBOX 360/Bad company engine gets "ported" to a pc title I dont believe it will be anything groundbreaking. Sad because anyone who played Desert Combat back in the BF1942 days knows the potential player base for this game. I think 2142 has some pretty decent numbers too. This branching will just water down whos playing what on the series. Lowering player counts per game. I was one day hoping for true battles, 128 man servers or (dare I?) 256 man. *drool* Oh the carnage.

Either they have a really frighteningly large team (minimum wage allows affordable salaries for large numbers?), or they developed a very stupid (automated?) process for mass-producing games in the same amount of time that smarter companies take producing one. So... I guess this franchise is about quantity and not quality then?
