    interview: robin walker talks tf2

On the eve of the new Pyro unlockable weapons, new achievements, and two new community maps comes an interview from CS-Nation that has almost nothing to do with those things! We asked you a few weeks back to submit your questions for an interview with Valve's Robin Walker.

You asked, and he has taken the time to answer!
CS-Nation: (From: various) What is the next class set to receive new unlocks and achievements?

    Walker:
The Pyro is the focus on the next pack. We're making some significant changes to the base Pyro class & weaponry, in addition to the three unlockables and thirty-five achievements. We've never been terribly happy with the Pyro, in particular with her shallower skill curve than other combat classes. We really want highly skilled Pyros to be visibly more effective than the average Pyro, and the new features are designed to address that.
Alright, so there might be a few questions there that touch upon the big Pyro update tomorrow. With the amount of additional content tossed in, I hope you can find it in your hearts to forgive us?

She has a hangbag or something in her locker, doesn't s/he? I think that kinda confirms it though eh. "She" from Robin.

To clarify, while I didn't ask the pyro question, I called shortly after release and wrote about it a couple months ago.

I was figuring back then that she was female. The big ole' rear and handbag gave it away. Glad to see some confirmation. Thanks for answering questions robin!

I wrote about this piece as well and linked back to you guys. Hopefully that isn't an issue.

Oh slapnuts, how much I love your ridiculous handle. And to share that with the world on your very own website — how grand!

Thank you sir. Not quite my site, just a writer for them.

I have used it since TFC first came out, through CS beta days, all the way to now. =p

The "Meet The" Series is so god damn funny and well made. I'm going to be sad when they are all done. And I think the spy one is going to be the best.

I guess I should mention that there were a number of other questions that I submitted and asked that you guys asked, but not everything was answered. Just in case someone was feeling left out.

Thanks for the explanation Zips. I felt quite sad when I didn't see my question there.

Robin was really tight lipped. In the future you might want to reword people's questions so that they can't be answered with "Yes" or "No" answers, I know I could of done a better job of that in mine, asking for content instead of confirmation.

If you don't want to answer a question, it doesn't matter how its worded
