    Alienware Sponsored Gamers Tour LAN Event for CS: Source

    The Gamers Tour has just announced their Alienware PC Gaming Season Open Tournament.
    The Alienware PC Gaming Season Open is a Counter-Strike Source LAN Tournament featuring $7,500 in cash prizes! It is slated to be the biggest and best Open Counter-Strike Source LAN-based tournament of the summer.
    This event kicks off on Saturday, June 28th and runs through the 29th. The event is scheduled to take place at the following LAN centers.
    • GameFrog in Winston-Salem, NC

    • Gigabits LAN in Orlando, FL

    • Gamestation in Cornwall, NY

    • CyGamZ in Ypsilanti, MI

    • Howie’s Game Shack in Westminster, CA

    • Euphnet Cyber Café v3 in San Jose, CA

    • The Digital Nexus in Toms River, NJ

    • Xtreme Gaming Cybercafe in San Antonio, TX

          Alienware = the suck.... The damn laptop I have from has burned my hands and they still refuse to replace it let alone honor my warrenty on it.

          There plunty of other companies that do the samething that do produce crappy over price pieces of s**t.... I'm sorry but Alienware fails, yeah wahoo they're supporting something, but again what company honestly doesn't?

            It's most likely money allocated in their advertising budget. If they're not spending it on LAN's or whatever, they'll spend it else where. There target market is PC gamers, so a toruney is a great place to attract potential buyers.

              Pff, Alienware will "sponser" anything if you ask them. They sent us a bunch of posters and keychains etc for our local LAN event. Plus, their machines are overpriced and unreliable. :]
