No, this isn't about the upcoming sequel to STALKER, this is what happens when Half-Life 2 and the Source engine are used to create an EVE Online based machinima.



Driven by the Source engine, this 40 minute long "pilot episode" is the culmination of years of hard work. You can offer up your praise to the author, John Rourke, after watching.

that was pretty impressive, the animation/voice acting was probably the best I've seen in a HL2 machinima

I started watching this with rather low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. The fact that you're watching machinima doesn't get in the way of the story, and coming from a background of having no knowledge about the EVE Online universe it was still easy to follow. It's not revolutionary or the most unique plot ever to see the light of day, but it's certainly enjoyable and entertaining.



A lot of hard work definitely went in to this, and it shows. Go watch it -- you won't be disappointed.
