New Project Origin Footage

Gametrailers has a new trailer for Project Origin, the sequel to FEAR.

I'm quite eagerly awaiting this one. Project Origin is due out on the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 systems later this year.

The game looks...boring.

The metroid/visor/in vehicle warped FOV HUD is neat and all but it's just..tacky..something I would expect to see on a lame Metroid Game. Not to mention, nothing stellar for graphics.



Excessive "Bullet time" . Damn this is 2008, not 1999 Matrix/Max Payne just came out time. Seriously if all you have is bullet time going for you, what's the point of playing FPS? Random generic gore and lame creepy electronica ambience ripped off of Scary movie.



Looks like another back burner game , only to be completely dwarfed by another title that has something going for it than cheap thrills and bullet time.

You do realize that this is the sequel to FEAR, a title that holds an 88 at metacritic for the PC version, and was touted as one of, if not the top shooter of 2005, right?

It's made by Monolith, creators of No One Lives Forever and FEAR. They have credentials and this looks solid. Though, I'd rather them bring back NOLF than do a FEAR sequel. The combat looks amped up from the original, which is saying a lot.
