• Metal Gear Solid 4 will not be the end of the MGS series! Surprise, surprise here as Konami is insisting that MGS4 is not the last MGS title, only the last chapter in the story of Solid Snake. Wait just one damn minute here. Solid Snake is the lifeblood of the Metal Gear series! Konami saw the reaction when Raiden was introduced in MGS2. Perhaps they really should stop trying to milk that cash cow if Solid Snake won't be a part of it.
  
  
• Pre-orders for the US bundle deal of a "gun metal" gray PS3 and a copy of Metal Gear Solid 4 went sour after the Konami store buckled under the server load. With a number of "503 errors" being returned for eager buyers yesterday, the store is now operational but it reportedly only allows for a set amount of pre-orders to be made per day.
