The University of Alberta is conducting a research study on the predictability of AI in computer games by using none other than Counter-Strike: Source as its test subject.
We will compare the predictions of humans with those made by computer programs and determine which group (if any) predicts with a statistically higher accuracy. Also we wish to use the prediction data from the participants to train computer programs to perform more closely to that of a human at this task.To participate and aid in the research, all you need to do is create a new account at the project's page. You will need XP or Vista in order to run the client required for the study. A special thanks to community member Enfirno for submitting this news to us!
