In Prey, players enter a living spaceship which enslaves alien races and devours humans for lunch. Prey turns the first person shooter genre upside down with awesome new gameplay features like wall-walking and gravity flipping, making for intense single-player and multi-player experiences.

Prey earned an 83/100 score at Metacritic. For $5, you really can't pass this one up.

I think it depends where you live if you get charged tax or not. Even so, its probably between 0.50-1.00 dollar worth of tax, so its really not that much of a difference.

"Meh" is hardly descriptive of how awesome this sale is. If you don't have the game and you like FPS games, it's a must buy this weekend.

I heard the weapons feel weaker than hl2 and basically all of the good stuff is in the demo.



It got an 83 because it came out during the summer when there was a drought of games and it was released on the 360 as well so the score got inflated as reviewers just copied the usual inflated 360 shooter score over to the pc version. Also it had a good start and was on the doom 3 engine so people wanted to like it.



You definitely can pass this up.

i already watched the ending online, so I don't think it'll be worth it for me.

I remember playing the demo just before the game came out that long time ago, and I wasn't attracted. The upside-down style of gameplay while definitely unique, felt too bizarre and at times even slightly unpleasantly nauseating. The whole "when you die you float like a bird" gameplay mechanic also felt kind of dumb.

$5.18 was the total cost for me.

I have it already... considering that a 2-hour movie costs me nearly $4 from my local Blockbuster, $5 was really quite a deal for a single-player game of this length. It has a pretty similar feel to Quake 4, if you're looking for a comparison, but with a Native-American flair.
