    New Vegas 2 Co-op Footage

CVG has the latest footage from Rainbow Six: Vegas 2, featuring a look at some of the co-op gameplay (their video player is a tiny link on the right side of the page).
Visually the sequel should have matured like a pair of socks left to fester under the bed. But look at the blurry textures on walls (when the camera gets close enough), the bland lighting, the last-gen-style smashed glass and explosions, and the jagged low-polygon environments. It's not far off an old Xbox game.
Wow, those are some rather harsh words for what is seen in such a tiny video resolution!

Personally, I don't think it looks that bad, especially for co-op/multiplayer which is notorious for having its graphics cut back in games.

I must admit from viewing the bigger version (under Launch Player) that it does look a bit 'old', like Splintercell (first) old.

But I do definitely agree that co-op is cut back in many games, and it shouldn't take away from the experience if that is awesome :)

That is the one I watched as well, not the postage stamp sized preview clip. It's still far from hi-res and tough to really make a comparison.
