No Overhealer Unlockable Coming for Medic

In an email sent to a forum user at the Steampowered forums, Valve's Robin Walker stated that the Overhealer unlockable for the Medic will NOT be coming.

No details on the Pyro’s unlockable weapons yet, sorry. We’re still focusing on the Medic, and the underlying system. Your fire axe will be happy to hear that the Overhealer didn’t work out as well as we wanted it to, and won’t be making an appearance.

I thought it sounded cool, but if it isn't working out, then I'm glad they scrapped it. Being a developer myself, I know how hard it can be to scrap something you've put a lot of work into, but sometimes it is the right thing to do. Keep up the good work Valve. Quality over quantity.
