Things get Haze-y in May

Based off of a newly released trailer for the PlayStation 3 exclusive title, Haze, comes the first "solid" release date. Now slated for a May 2008 release (pushed back from a late 2007 release), the once multi-platform title might actually see the light of day.

Haze is a FPS from developer Free Radical Design, the team behind the popular TimeSplitters series. Its main gameplay element is a performance enhancing drug, Nectar, that has the power to help or hurt if taken in excess.

They were both in development around the same time. If you want, you could also say something like TimeShift had similar abilities with its suit only they were time shifting abilities.



Really, this has its roots in drug addiction, if you want to compare it to anything.

Haha, I think it's the steroids controversy spilled over into the fps community... I'll be getting this game, especially since FRD built the TimeSplitters series
