Taking advantage of this new "just for fun" category, here's an awesome papercraft of a portal turret done by a user on DeviantArt. The previous link will take you to the pdf file of the papercraft, and here is the finished product.

I really do like papercraft, and while I haven't done much myself yet, some of them look really neat. I need to work on some, my folder on my computer is filling up with a to do list of papercraft!

There's all kind of neat thing on DA, if you look around and desensitize your mind to the horrors that are there also.

I don't know what you've been searching for, but I don't think I've seen much of that furry fanfic stuff you mention over at DA. There's a huge variety of art there.

Not actually been to DA in probably 4 years, just going off what I've heard about it.
