article: left 4 dead - preview

I know a number of you have been waiting for my look at Left 4 Dead for quite a while now. The wait is now over! We have a two part look at Left 4 Dead in store for you.



The first part contains a lot of background information on the game and a few of my personal takes on the graphics, gameplay, and other areas. Part two will come in just two short days and will offer up much greater detail on my actual play through of the game.

Make no mistake, the game is all about fast and intense battles against legions of Infected. Offering plenty of enjoyable action, the game will appeal to fans of shooters, survival horror, and team based ventures. There is a major emphasis on the "team" part there.

I hope you all enjoy! As a side note, I'd like to thank Kotae for helping me edit this article.

That one is actually my bad. I added in a bit after it was edited, just to make things more clear. That was one such line. Thanks for the catch.

Question, does L4D use the same engine that HL2 currently uses? If so then great, my PC will be able to handle it.

This game looks like it could be really good.



In the mean time i've been playing Zombie Panic like crazy to hold me over.



Even for a beta it's really fun especially if you play with friends.
