    Steam News - February 1, 2008

This week's Steam news update is short, sweet, and to the point.
A huge new update pack for Red Orchestra is now available. Created by the MinionWorkz team, the pack includes new operable vehicles and working anti-vehicle guns for both sides. Visit their site for more details.

TF2 update: you may’ve heard that new achievements, maps, and unlockable items are on the way. The first map, Goldrush, introduces a new game mode. The BLU team must escort a high-tech mining cart through a series of checkpoints to the RED base within a time limit. The more BLU players near the cart, the faster the cart moves. The cart stops if any RED team member is in the vicinity. We’re balancing the map now; look for it within the month.
In other news, we'll have the Left 4 Dead two part article starting to see the light of day this week upcoming. Yep, it's a two part feast for your minds.

Why is it called Goldrush when the cart is actually a xerox machine..? Dumb.

Yeah, if there's no gold in the cart, then... what's the point?

Let's not forget that the world will end in Feb. and mankind will be doomed if they don't release the mentioned update within the weeks that it was mentioned and such..

I starting writing a walkthrough for Final Fantasy 12 and promised daily updates. It's now been over a year since the last time I updated it. It's still not done.

It's not that I don't wanna finish...it's that I don't wanna play Final Fantasy 12 enough to finish it. I wonder if that's the same case with Valve? Maybe they're getting tired of their own game? I know they're dead tired of everything CS.
